Yesterday as I was taking the plane to go to Ibiza, it got me thinking about travel outfits. You always see some people with amazing effortless styles, especially when going to Ibiza, but I know that choosing an outfit for traveling is not always that "effortless". You want to be comfortable and yet stay as stylish as you can, and that's were the challenge is, as those two words don't really match.
To me the main rules to follow are : never wear heels ( unless comfortable wedges ), and thanks to Isabel Marant you can now be very stylish with just trainers; biker boots or loafers are also great. It's also better to go for trousers, either loose fitted or second skin skinnies, match with an oversize top ( like a graphic sweatshirt ) . And finally chose the biggest statement handbag you have to fit all the extra things you will need to keep you fresh and distracted.
Having say that you can use any fabulous accessories to glam up the whole outfit, like oversize sunnies, statement jewelry ( even though it might take you more time to go through security) , a nice printed scarf ( that you can use as a pashmina when cold in the plane ) or a nice hat, Celebs and Models are usually the best at it !
